Luxe X Dual Mesh pods have two mesh layers built into each coil instead of one. That extra layer gives you noticeably stronger flavour and the pods tend to last a good bit longer before they need changing. They're a top fill pod with the coil built in, sold in packs of two.

You get a choice of 0.4Ω or 0.6Ω depending on how you vape. Both fit the Luxe X3, Luxe XR Max, Luxe X2, and Luxe X Pro. It also has a slightly narrower mouthpiece than the Corex 2.0 Pods.

Dual Layer Mesh Coils

Normal Luxe X pods run a single mesh strip. The Dual Mesh version has two layers stacked together, so there's roughly twice as much mesh touching your e-liquid at any given time. In practice, that means the coil gets up to temperature quicker and you get a fuller, richer vape from the first draw.

Vaporesso's own lab testing puts the flavour bump at up to 25% over their standard single mesh pods. That tracks with what you'd expect from a bigger heating area. Fruit and dessert juices are where you'll taste the biggest difference since there's more going on in those flavour profiles.

Luxe X Dual Mesh Pod Options

Both pods use the same dual layer mesh coil. The only real difference is how tight the draw feels and what wattage they run at.

Coil Lifespan

Because the heat spreads across two mesh layers instead of one, no single spot on the wick takes all the punishment. That's why Vaporesso's lab data shows the Dual Mesh pods lasting up to twice as long as their standard single mesh versions.

Note: Luxe X Dual Mesh pods are not the same as Luxe XR pods. XR pods use removable GTX coils. Luxe X pods have the coil built in and you swap the whole pod when it's done.

Top Fill and Mouthpiece

There's a silicone stopper on top of the pod. Lift it up, fill through the port, press it back down. You don't need to take the pod out of the kit to top up, and the seal keeps juice from leaking out the fill hole.

The Dual Mesh mouthpiece is a bit slimmer than the one on the Corex 2.0 pods. If you thought the Corex tip was on the wide side, you'll probably find these more comfortable for longer vaping sessions.
